This polymeric, glossy digital printing film with its amazing new adhesive formulation, which is highly resistant to solvent vapours and lubricating oil, offers assurance for your most difficult applications. And yes, we mean really difficult: trailer graphics for instance; plywood panels, equipped with a highly dirt-repellent surface. Decals on construction vehicles, agricultural and industrial machines, that are subject to extreme mechanical stress and heavy pollution. Other demanding applications include campers and mobile homes, petrol pumps, motocross vehicles, low-energy surfaces and ABS plastics - often used in household and electrical appliances. In fact, wherever extreme conditions prevail.

With the MonsterTack ASLAN DFP 05, you will soon have a film available for a multitude of demanding applications that will provide a rigorous, secure hold. This is an addition to ASLAN’s excellent portfolio of speciality digital print media, equipped with long-term removable to ultra-strong adhesive systems.

In addition, this special adhesive system offers so much more. Despite its extremely high adhesive strength, the MonsterTack ASLAN DFP 05 can be removed from low-energy surfaces and steel without leaving any film or adhesive residue. It can also be applied at low temperatures from -10° C and therefore offers flexibility and security in one.

This high-quality self-adhesive film offers a striking, extremely high-gloss mirror effect. Applied to a flat surface, the film acts like a mirror, providing crystal clear reflections and making rooms appear bigger and brighter. The film surface is highly scratch-resistant, making sure the brilliant mirror effect is retained in the long term. A special feature of this polyester film is that the mirror effect is identical on both sides, providing stunning double-sided reflections on transparent surfaces.

The products from the ASLAN ReApply series are ASLAN functional films that are equipped with a revolutionary adhesive system and can be easily applied to smooth surfaces.  The top of the ReApply is a combination of different variations of the well-known ASLAN memo board films.

After use the ASLAN ReApply can be rolled up, stored away and used again when required.

The face film of the ReApply FerroBlackboard ASLAN RA 640 is equipped with the combination of a magnetic iron foil and an easy-to-clean chalkboard foil. For example, glass and kitchen surfaces, doors, tiles, etc. can be transformed into memoboards in no time at all. Additionally, using chalk and liquid chalk pens, it is guaranteed to clean easily without the ghosting effect of former writing. When it is no longer needed simply remove it, roll it up and store it away for later use. If ReApply does not adhere well to the surface, such as matt and slightly textured surfaces, this can be increased by lightly spraying the back of the film with water.

The protection film MagicProtect MATT ASLAN SL 99 has been developed to protect digital printing films and other surfaces against vandalism, graffiti and dirt. Spray paint and dirt slides off the matt surface of this self-adhesive film like water of a lotus Leaf.

The 80 µm polymeric, softened PVC film can be applied on smooth and curve surfaces.
When used as a laminate in combination with a digital print, this film can also be applied to rough surfaces, with the use of a heat gun, to excellent effect.
As spray paint will not adhere to the film‘s surface, vandals will be put off immediately from causing any further damage.
Any residue paint and dirt can easily be cleaned off the surface.

Surfaces that are often damaged by graffiti in areas open to the general public, can be protected with MagicProtect Matt ASLAN SL 99, whether as a laminate for a digital print or on its own. This film has an outdoor durability of three years.

Holographic ASLAN SE 72 is a silver self-adhesive film with an outstanding holographic effect. It’s a 50 µm thick PET-film and shimmers in the colours of the rainbow. The special features of the product include the double-sided effect and the fact that it comes seamless, i.e. without any visible transition of the effect, as is usually the case with such materials. This saves time and material when printing and cutting the product. The film is equipped with a water-based special adhesive from ASLAN and lasts up to 3 years outdoors. The material can be printed with Latex- and UV-curable inks. Holographic ASLAN SE 72 can be applied on smooth, even surfaces and is perfect for use in shop and trade fair construction as well as for visual merchandising. The product is available in the dimensions 1.01 x 25 m.

6 | 21 – ASLAN is expanding its range of environmentally-friendly and PVC free products for the sign making and digitally printing industry with two real highlights:
Digital printing film and protective laminate made from recycled polyester
LoopPET ASLAN DRL 19 is a white film for large format digital printing. It is made using 30% recycled polyester and heralds a series of products that are more than just PVC free, leaving a smaller carbon footprint. ASLAN's renowned Dryapply adhesive technology makes it easy to apply the film without bubbles and has excellent removability. The material can be printed using latex and UV curable inks.

The LoopLAM ASLAN SRL 19 laminate is the perfect match to protect the print. The content of recycled polyester of this highly clear film is 70%. Even though the product is designed as a protective laminate (liner/adhesive), it is possible to print it with UV curable and latex inks.

Both self-adhesive films are equipped with ASLAN's special and reliable water-based adhesives – thus the films contain not only recycled raw material, but are also free of solvents, PVC and VOCs.

Use of recycled raw materials for manufacturing
Worldwide the sign making and large format market is undergoing a strong rethinking process towards more environmentally friendly products. While a complete recycling is currently not an option, ASLAN has approached the matter differently. "We used raw materials which contain recycled components as a base for the new films." explains Dr. Petra Tschöpe, R&D manager of the manufacturer of high-quality self-adhesive speciality products.

The recycled polyester used is post-consumer recycled (PCR), for example old PET bottles which are sorted by colour and then shredded into small flakes according to material. These flakes are then mixed with new PET granules in varying proportions (70% for transparent, 30% for white) and then extruded to form new films. This creates an environmentally-friendly, forward-thinking composite of recycled raw materials for digital printing. White products are limited in the proportion of recycled contents in order to maintain the desired degree of whiteness. 

The 50 µm (1.9 mil) thick ASLAN films can be applied to smooth, flat surfaces. The self-adhesive films are ideal for use in shop fitting, trade show booths, visual merchandising and wherever value is placed on products that are a real greener alternative. Both products can be used indoors and outdoors and are available in the dimensions 1.37 x 50 m (53” x 50 yds).

03 | 21 Bringing back some color to our lives – with the brand new dichroic self-adhesive films from ASLAN. Two transparent dyed and four opaque films that shift colors depending on light conditions and viewing angle:  ColourShift ASLAN SE 70  and  ColourShift ASLAN SE 71 .

The transparent self-adhesive film ColourShift ASLAN SE 70 is a 110 µm (4.3 mil) thick, glossy polyester film with special coating. Both effects, Nebula and Solar, are suitable for indoor and outdoor applications on flat surfaces.
